Kellie Netherwood Photography | The Puna
In 2017 I enjoyed six days exploring the Puna, a remote and spectacular high altitude desert in north-west Argentina.
It's an area that receives very few tourists, which of course, is part of its charm.
The solitude is energising and the landscape dramatic - salt flats, rock formations, mountains, sand dunes, dormant mines and tiny oasis villages, all shaped by centuries of volcanic activity and erosion.
